Petsoulas IKE has been operating in the underground infrastructure sector since 1982, with specialized expertise in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), micro-tunneling, auger boring, and specialized trenching excavations.
The company was originally founded in 1982 as a sole proprietorship under the name Michail Petsoulas, focusing on the construction of underground utility networks for electricity, telecommunications, water supply, and sewerage, as well as the installation of coaxial and fiber-optic cables.
In 1998, the company expanded systematically into the drilling sector, investing in specialized personnel and modern machinery. In 2003, DIM. PETSOULAS & CO. E.E. was established and now operates as Petsoulas IKE, maintaining the same technical focus and expertise.

Horizontal drilling constitutes the preferred solution for pipeline crossings beneath high-traffic roads, railway lines, rivers, or areas with existing utility infrastructure (electricity, telecommunications, natural gas, etc.), eliminating the need for extensive excavation and subsequent roadway reinstatement.

The company’s mechanical equipment portfolio includes:

✔ Directional Drilling Locating System for control and tracking
✔ Equipment supporting diameters from 40 mm to 1,500 mm
✔ Capability to execute drillings up to 500 m, 1,000 m, or 1,500 m in length, depending on diameter and ground conditions
